24h of Racing LIVE
We already warned you several days ago… Through our social media we asked if some of you are pretending to participate in the iRacing 24h of Nürburgring.
We will!! In addition, we will do it in an special context. All the drivers will be gathered in the MARCA.COM headquarters, the main building of Unidad Editorial, in Madrid.
In a perfectly conditioned room for this time, where we will set up two racing simulators, in such a way that during one driver is competing in the race, the rest can wait for their turn warming up in the other one.
It will be a very special race. The leading endurance event par excellence alongside the 24h of Le Mans, which we have visited it two years in a row for the SimRacing Expo it’s the reason why we are fond of with it.
The race takes place this Saturday 22 at 13:00 GMT, and if everything goes well, with that pinch of luck you always need, we will cross the finish line Sunday 23 at the same time.
As always, “racing against the clock”. With some other competitions in curse, as the World Championship, in which a lot of training hours are required for our drivers to be well prepared. But now it’s time for an special event.
We have faith in them and in their qualities to bring us a good spectacle to show the rest of the motorsport fanatics and the sports world in general, they are able to enjoy a virtual race through the most visited Spanish website, MARCA.COM.
We want to be grateful with our sponsors for making this kind of events possible. Thanks to BenQ, Custom Cockpits, Heusinkveld Engineering, Thrustmaster and Interactiv4 for providing us with everything we need for each race and giving us support during the whole weekend. We need them more than ever.
The set up of the simulators will be the day before the event, Friday 21 of April. The drivers will have only a few hours to get used to the steering wheel and the rest of the available peripherals. Apart from that, the drivers who cannot travel to Madrid, will push as hard as they can racing from their homes to help the team.
Only a few days for the race and we can almost listen to the engines firing up prepared for the formation lap. We have the entire week to set a qualifying time in which we will see who is the fastest driver, and maybe, it will allow us to be in the front of the field.
The best of luck to all the participants! Specially to the huge amount of Spanish teams which for sure we will meet in the track. No matter in which category or split you are competing, to cross the finish line it’s like a win.
We will try to keep the car without any damage for the most time possible, taking zero risk. Letting the hours pass… Come on, everything is possible!
